AROS PATENT AB offers a full range of services within the field of Intellectual Property protection. The base of our business is to secure the best possible intellectual property rights for our clients.

Patents
We draft, prosecute and maintain patent applications for a wide range of Swedish as well as international companies. Our staff of attorneys covers a broad range of technical fields, such as electronics, telecom, electrical engineering, medical engineering, chemistry and mechanical engineering.

We have especially strengthened our competence in presently very hot areas such as biotech/life science and environmental engineering.

In addition to filing and prosecuting patent applications in Sweden we also file European patent applications and International patent applications (PCT).

For the filing of patent applications in other countries we cooperate with established Patent Attorney firms of our wide international network. We have great experience in drafting patent applications in the English language, adapted for filing e.g. in the US.

Our staff includes attorneys and assistants having many years of experience in preparing, filing and prosecuting applications for the registering of designs both in Sweden and abroad.

Designs
We prepare, file and prosecute trade mark applications and assist our clients in legal matters and with contracts and agreements in our associated company Aros Juridik AB. Advice and opinions are provided regarding infringement of intellectual property rights and regarding the validity of intellectual property rights.

Trade marks
We represent clients in opposition proceedings against Swedish and European Patents as well as against Swedish and Community Trade Marks.

General counseling in intellectual property matters and advising on Intellectual property management and strategies are other essential parts of our services. We perform novelty searches normally forming a base for opinions and advice regarding patentability/registrability, infringement, validity or opposition.

We use modern equipment and advanced systems to secure reliable procedures for maintaining up-to-date client and file registers, for reminders and for term monitoring.
